I'd like to incorporate one of each of the fish types listed above into my 90G reef tank and I'd like to know in what order I should do this? Would the tang be last? Any certain varieties that I should steer clear of?
I have a tank full of corals and when starting out i was told the small angels (sometimes alled pigmy angels) were the only reef safe angels. I have a flame angel and a coral beauty and they both have never been "caught" messing with corals at all. Some experienced people will tell u there is no guarantee on angels beeing safe but most people would agree u "should" be ok. But most other angels, although some of the most beutiful fish. are not recommended for reefs. I have a yellow tang, kole tang and blue hippo in my reef tank with other fish as well. As is the case in general, go with the rule of thumb of adding the most agressive or sometime the biggest fish last and add the shyest or even the smallest fish first to give them time to settle in. I added a yellow tang and blue hippo and kole tang all at once and left the tank completely dark for 24hours which definitely helps. Good luck
I had a african flameback dwarf angel for 4 months. great fish, then 1 day he went coral hungry and he had to go. It's hit or miss. I hear keep them fed because once they start feeding on corals they wont stop

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll play it safe and just go with a tang that I'll add last
But can anyone recommend some colorful, interesting, neat-o fish that I can add in the meantime?
