Percula with white growth

Hi,

One of my true percs has a white growth on the side of it's face. Ill try to get a picture of it, but what kind of disease is it? It reminded me of a cold sore.

Between 1/16" and 1/8"

Could be ich, a fluke, a injury that is starting to heal. Like joker said a pic will help alot
