I spot checked and saw the MJ1200 "on sale" for $22.97 and Instant Ocean bucket 160 gal "on sale" for $53.97... you gotta be kiddin, right? 50% off sounded good - I guess it's a question of "50% off of what".

They seem way overpriced to begin with. For Marineland emporer filter pads they were something like $18 on sale versus petsmart which had them for about $10.
