I think all of their tangs are half off. Anyone has experience ordering online from them?

Petco is drop shipping from Quality Marine, one of the best wholesalers. It is no different or even better than buying from anywhere else.
Buy buy buy before they run out, if not already.
I have no relationship with Petco, just my personal opinion.
As always, QT the fish.
This deal is insane, but consider the normal mark up of marine fish, they still make money of course.

Ended up ordering a white tail yellow eye bristletooth, fingers crossed they send me a healthy one. I think they updated their policy to include saltwater fish in the 30 days guarantee based on a PDF on Google.
 
30 days guarantee? They are crazy.
That is a move to kill off local fish stores.
 
I think no guarantees if in-store, based on that link (which I assume is more updated) then I think it is 7-days.
"All Aquatic Life purchased on Petco.com are guaranteed to stay alive for 7 days from the day they arrive at your home or we will gladly refund your money back to the original form on payment...If you experience a loss of your marine fish, freshwater fish, invertebrates, or live plants that was purchased online at petco.com within 7 days of delivery please contact Customer Care at 1-877-738-6742."

@mandarin just wondering if you received shipment confirmation yet from Friday's order? I think they should be shipped today and arrived overnight tomorrow, but I haven't seen anything on my end.
 
Just wanted to post a positive experience with the 7-day policy with Petco. I ordered a mimic half black along with the white tail bristletooth. The bristletooth made it in my tank with no problem, healthy and fat now swimming with the gang.

The mimic half black they sent me though had a fin deformity and hasn't been eating. Eventually passed despite feeding efforts over the weekend. Got Petco on the phone, explain the situation, they asked when it was delivered. The agent immediately sent me an email where I can upload proof. Then immediately honored the 7-day live guarantee policy once they saw the picture asking if I want a refund or a replacement. No pain no hassle, took like 15 minutes on the phone including 5 minutes wait for the email to come through.
 
Why do people like those piranhas lol
