[PH] Anybody else experiencing....

Lower than normal PH reading this time of the year? I usually run rock solid from 8.0 - 8.3 but lately I notice it running a bit lower.

Like in the 7.85-8.0 area.

House is closed up much more in winter... people breathing in your house causes a higher amount of CO2 than during the summer. This higher CO2 in the air will cause a drop in tank ph.

Mine is lower than normal too. My house isn't anymore closed up than it was a month ago.

I usually run high end of 8.3 at the end of the lighting cycle and it only goes to 8.2 now. I was thinking maybe the probe needs to be calibrated.

I have a window open, I have gas heat, Alot of house plants and my PH is Still low. My alk is good at 11 I don't dirip kalkwasser is there another solution to this?

Oh yeah! I live on a 3rd floor apartment and the heat in my apartment isn't even on.

maybe vent the air intake of your skimmer so it is pulling in from outside?
