I'm not sure if milwakee makes more than one controller or not, but at least one that they do sell has only one set point whereas the pinpoint has two.
IMO the two set points is a big bonus if being used on a Ca reactor because you can have a high and low value. With only one set point you have a high or a low but not both. (it's nice to be able to keep the PH low enough AND have a safe guard that it won't go too low)

With only one set point, if you have the Co2 turned up too high it can let the PH get lower than you would want. With some medias (ie arm regular) the media will turn to mush if the PH goes too low.
IIRC with the milwakee that most fish places carry (is there more than one model, I thought they made more than one?) there is a set point but not a range adjustment. I am assuming that the range is preset, but I could be totally wrong.
