The prize for this month -- donated by the generous folks at Beacon Aquarium -- is a LifeGuard Temp Alert thermometer, which has alarms for high/low temperature.

Due to lack of participation I'm extending the submission deadline until end of Monday, July 25th.

Come on guys, Lourdes and I thought this month's theme would draw even more great photos, but only two people sent in their pics... if there are any concerns or questions about the contest feel free to post here, or PM me directly.

Grab your camera and shoot your SPSs... with a little practice you'll be amazed with the results, and hopefully you'll want to share them with the rest of us -- that's the main intent of the contest, but it can only exist if people participate.

You have done a great job with the photo contest and the participation been very good, the theme will not always be a match for everyone, as is the case with me this month, but SPS should be popular.

Someone needs to donate some pretty SPS to me so I can get some pretty pictures. The poop colored acro frag just isn't doing it for me.

I only have 1 2" sps frag in my tank I can try to get a picture of it but its nothing special...green slimer. Hopefully you will get some more responses. I think its an excellent category, just not one I can participate very well in.

People are welcome to come shoot some SPS in my tank. I've got some fairly interesting colorful stuff, but no time or macro equipment to shoot with.

Of course to take pictures in my tank, you'll probably want to clean the glass first.

I understand what you guys are saying, but there's a large number of members who have plenty of SPS, I was hoping this month's theme would draw more people in... anyway, even if you only have a few frags, you can always try some macro shots...
