Placing corals in groups

Its never dawned on me until I was looking at another post. When placing corals of the same type like Zoas can they be grouped closely together even if they are different kinds? For example if I have some eagle eye zoas can I place them right next to a rasta zoa even touching? Same goes for acans if I have a frag of an acan from a different main colony can I put them right next to another different frag of acan so close they touch? I was curious about them fighting or having reactions to each other. The same question goes for anemones can bubble tip anemones tolerate each other touching. Would red bta and green bta be ok close to each other. How about different types of anemones touching example can a bubble tip anemone go next to a saebae anemone? I know this is kind of confusing but any help would be great.

For the acans as long as they are of the same species then yes (lords with lords, enchinatas with enchinatas, bowerbankeris with bowerbankeris) I think you should be good with the zoos too.

I have zoas growing together. Touching. The problem is one type will outgrow the other and crowd them out. So you need to be careful. I also have shrooms, acans, and euphilia touching. sps such as monti caps can gow side by side but in the touching area will be a clear winner. My purple cap will grow over my orange and my red will grow over my green. Nems I believe can touch but if they don't like it they'll move. Lol so the answer I think is its a case by case thing. :-)

How do you know the difference between different acans?

Acan lords have small to medium polyps

acan echinatas are just like chalices there polyps Form together and they encrusted

acan bowerbankis have larger polyps

No problem my friend

Also another heads up the echinatas are the most aggressive out of them all. Then it's the bowers, then the lords. So watch what you put next to them.
