plz help setup sump/fuge

Im making a 15 gal for my 40 gallon main tank. Can anyone plz tell me the height I should make my baffles? thanks!

make the baffles 4 iches shorter than the 15 gallon tank and raise them up that 4 inches so there is an open space at the bottom but I dont know what your specifically looking for?

Well I read a lot of people leave only an inch of space on the underflowing baffle. But Im wondering about the baffles that the water flows over. How high should those be?

find how high the tank that ur using is and make the baffles 3/4 that height

Well my main tank is 16 high and my sump is only 12 high so that wouldnt really work.
