PM's new needle wheel skimmer

Anyone seen reviews on this thing yet? Looks like a bubble master knockoff to me......right down to the 18w consumption.

How much, since I think I'm outgrowing my octo nw200? Total water volume between displays and sump/fuge is ~400 gallons.

There is no model for that volume at this time.

It looks more like a ER knock off than a BM.

I'm sure it will work fine, like all the other NW skimmers do. It's not exactly like an ER.. but this type of design has been used for over a decade with minor plumbing changes by many companies. Buying the PM nw gets you long term service from a reputable company if that's the style skimmer you are looking for and impellers won't cost more than the pump is worth.

Also, it doesn't have that up/down slider that some skimmers have that splashes & such on the drain.

Jeremy, any idea how much air the pump is pulling? I can already see a recirc mod if I ever get one.

Seen it in action today and talked to jeremy about it, I believe it pulls more air than the octo, the air line is ported more.
