Posting pictures - a simply way please?

I clearly need a tech lesson on how to post pictures. I suppose my problem is that I had to downsize each picture, then re-save. Is there an easier way?
Someone previously posted this process, but it is 2 years old.

*&*
1) Take your pic
2) Use an image editing program like Paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/) and resize the image to 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high (or less)
3) Save the image
4) Check the size of the image on your drive; if it's less than 150KB you are good to go
5) If it's greater than 150K resize it again (to something smaller than 800x600), or lower the 'quality' of the image (assuming you are saving to JPG)
6) Repeat the resize/quality changes until you get something 150KB or less with acceptable visual quality
7) Click the IMAGE icon on the post toolbar, select 'From Computer', and then choose your file(s)
8) They should upload into your post, you'll see an attachment tag for each image. I usually put a space or two between each one
9) Add any text you want to the post and preview and/or submit it

NOTE: You can only upload 5 images in each post/response, this includes smiley icons and such. If you have more than 5 to post, just respond to the thread again.

My process:
1 - take picture with phone/camera and move to storage (my case google drive)
2 - For re-sizing, I "inserted" (not attached) all the images that I wanted to re-size into an Outlook email.
3 - I then made the images smaller by dragging each corner till is was about 3x3.
4- I then sent the email to myself.
5 - In the new email, I right clicked the image and saved to desktop.
6 - From there, I opened up the forum page and "attached" the image. All in all, this was really time consuming.

Home pc had Google Picasca on it, which would allow you to tag and then email the images while offering you the option to pick a small, medium, or large quality/size file. That product has been discontinued, however.

I tried "inserting a photo" and "attaching" but something did not work in the popup window. I think both Firefox and Chrome were blocking something. i also could not drag the image into the box.

If there isn't an easier way to post, maybe I can come up with something different. The company I am with makes software developer tools, including multi platform app-making tools. Perhaps I can have our developers whip something up.

I upload my pics to photobucket.com and then just paste the link over here, doesn't matter file size that way and can even post videos if wanted

I upload my photos to imgur (free - no account necessary). Imgur then gives you the BB forum code for your image ie bracketed IMG /IMG which you then paste in whatever message over here.

Thats why I lied the TapaTalk App you just insert picture, nice and easy. I have been trying to post pics on this site for years with no luck

Good Luck Derek
