Solid 4 inches, fat and healthy. He’s just a relentless bully. Gonna try to catch him Wednesday and would like to line up a buyer. Pickup would be in Warwick RI. Would like to get $80, may consider trades. (Other reef safe fish, or corals) not really looking my for softies or leathers.

My powder brown tang chilled a bit once I put a mirror facing into the tank. That may help anyone who ends up with this guy.

I’m at work for 48 hours. I put the mirror setup in place before I left. I’m getting a jump on a buyer in the likely scenario that he doesn’t calm down. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Put him in a time out box inside the tank for a few days
then reintroduce him again he will be the last one in
i've done that with a few bad boys most of the time they learn their lesson
lol

u can make it as big as u want it

A decent size acclimation box will work. I had a Purple become a terrible bully, time out box for ~2 weeks and he came out a model citizen. If you like the fish it’s worth a try.

Short story: I added a Sohal tang on Monday. The powder brown was immediately aggressive and territorial. I got home today after a 48 hour shift and he seemed to have calmed down and it was more the purple tang being an a**h***. The hippo tang does appear to be too bothered by him. They’re all allowing him to keep to the sides without bothering him now and he is occasionally swimming the length of the tank, that is when he sees opposition. He has no visible injuries of getting “beat up”.
After much observation, I believe all tangs are just establishing territory/dominance.
My hope is all with simmer down (with time) enough where they can learn to co-exist!
