I have had my tank running for about a month and a half my tank ph level gose from 8 to 8.2 will it ever stay at a steady number of 8.2 or higher

Don't worry about PH. Test your alk and keep it within normal range (7-12dkh).

PH in seawater is a function of alk vs Co2. If your alk is good and your PH low, it's because of elevated Co2 in the air. As long as it doesn't get below PH @ 7.8 you should be fine. If alk is good and you are concerned about low PH, open some windows for a few hours

John is absolutely right. There's no problem with the swing you are seeing. It's normal to see it low in the AM and higher at night. Good flow, especially on the surface, helps also.
