PVC ? Superglue discovery

well my kid and i were messing with some ideas for the fuge the other day and when i went to glue the mock up we found the PVC cement was all dried up.. we decided for a short term fix and since it was a mock no big deal..we took some super glue gel and lined the inner part of a slip connector then put in the piping and gave it a twist (like you do with PVC weld) ...

25 seconds later we could not budge the thing even with tools!!!

been about a week now and still holding super strong and not breakable.. has anyone else tried this? what do you think??

According to their claim, if it is the 'Rubber toughened formulation, it can be used in 'Marine applications'. It is however, WAY cheaper to just buy a new can of PVC Glue and Primer pack

agreed i was just asking about it because i use the gel for gluing corals and thought "wow what a good idea LOL"
