quality skimmer for under $100?

need a quality skimmer for a 55 gallon tank,have $100 to spend. is there a brand or type that will work well? i have one now,water pumps into bottom vortex,all its doing is going up and out,no bubbles.

yes that may be worth a shot,but even used i would say you will be lucky to find a decent skimmer.

i agree not impossible though.

I had a CPR reef ready on a 55 gallon for 8 months.It will work with constant tweaking.

i run a cheap PS160 on mine, did the fishing line mod and this ting pulls some nice dark skimmate. i have it on my 72 and it seems to be doing the job.
