Rare (?) soft corals... LFS input welcome!

Cool Bidadari! I look forward to the pics.

Nice coral there, Troubleman!

Any input from our LFS folks? Are very colorful softies not available from wholesalers?

Speaking of rare soft corals, does anyone in the club have the elusive blue xenia? I'd love a frag of this stuff, it's a poor shipper so getting a frag is the best way to go.
I also found this site-- http://www.livestockusa.org/SCORALS.html it has a blue capnella, at least i'm guessing it's blue, it may just be the lights. Also their page on leathers and soft corals had some nice colors too.. http://www.livestockusa.org/LEATHERS.html

Softies/lps are all i want to put in my Tank now tired of the high electric bills. Have not seen alot of selection locally. Are they big in Europe or west coast?

Just a little bumperoo. I'm hoping to get input from those in the industry.

Cougaran,

I have a blue xenia. It is very termpermental. I have moved it to every elevation, every flow rate, and every lighting level, trying to find its "happy place".

It finally seems to be doing well. It is the first to look displeased if anything is the slightest bit off.

But I live in NH.

The blue con is one of the non-photosynthetic corals, and, well..... its aquacon
(you can spend whole days reading about aquacon over at RC or Reefs.org )

i know i was posting more for the coral not the vendor

I figured that - but I didn't want soembody to find that link and waste $$$ :D

I think Moe's got a great point - where are all the "other" colors in photosynthetic softies ?
Maybe we need to toss this question at an upcoming speaker or two and see what they think ?

ya i would like more then green and red in my tank
