Reef Devil Skimmer problem

Does any member have a Reef Devil skimmer? Having problems setting mine up. Have water in main tube 2 inches from box - creating skim, but not pushing out of tube into cup. Seeing a lot of brown solids on tube.

The reefdevil can be a pain to set up, Water level has alot to do with it. If your not to far away I can give you a hand as its easier shown than explained and without seeing your setup it would be hard to explain.

The end result though is once setup its set it and forget it.

Appreciate the offer, but I'm about 65 miles away in Wakefield. I have a 30-gal. split in half with one-half for skimmer ~ other half for micro algae. Have skimmer sitting on egg crate on top of tank with water level in tank to top of the 30-gal. If I extend return tube into water, water level in skimmer body rises, but very little skim. If I raise return to top level of water, water in main skimmer body lowers & makes skim, but does not fill tube to top. Would appreciate any advice.
