are there any articles on it?

there is a thread over on rc in the digital aquatics forum

anything with elite in it's name has to be pricey. Any idea on price?

and so far, nothing but vaporware...

yeah, they claim someone stole their technology in the past and that is why they are not releasing too much info until they are ready to launch.
Personally i think they are just trying to build hype.
I will wait to see the controllers internet capability's before i am sold on it.
Looks nice though, its the size of an ipod and the outlets will have individual gfci's.

(250 devices. Wow!) think of all the toys... :)
Even the Power strip looks nice, being able to report the total current load on it..

They are also saying the picture of the unit was leaked on the internet. it sure does look nice:cool:

Myk

Just saying that it was leaked (even if it wasn't) is great for publicity.

When is it scheduled for release?

they will not commit to a date but are hinting at early this year

under $600 apparrently

Under $600 is not terrible. Any good controller is going to run you good money. I wonder if it has built in wi-fi? Now that would rock.

Edit: Once you put your system on a controller, there's no turning back. It's SO worth the money.

It's really nice to have everything controlled with digital accuracy! I'm such a geek!

no,i agree under 600 is good.
I'm not sure about the Wi Fi though, radio signals are easily disrupted

I agree. I was just fantasizing about how cool it would be to have the ethernet features of the ACIII in wi-fi.

I have been pricing controllers for a while now. I was going to buy an ACIII but now I must have an RKElite oooooohhhhhhhhhh. aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.
