Reef Safe Glue?

don't think so...looking at the technical data, I wouldn't. I think the poly in it's liquid state is caustic..this is my opinion. Stay with the cynocrylate based super glue gels.

I agree. I always used the loctite super glue or whatever. Also if you're gluing rocks together another good way to do that is with pond foam. That's what I used on mine and it worked really well. Just need to let it cure a few days.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll pass on using it as you suggested. When you say it's caustic in the liquid state do you mean it will break down in the saltwater once dried and cured outside the tank?
 
don't use anything that's not cyanoacrylate, I use maxicure extra thick ca glue from the hobby shop been using it for years with no ishues and its half the price of the same goo that's sold at the pet stores
 
be carefull if u use pond foam it will float and i think its the black can u need dont use the red cannnn dont ues the red cannn........and u have to use some resin to cover the foam u can aslo drill rock and use acrlic rods or fiberglass rods and aqarium safe silcone some peps also use a drill and pvc to make structures i been reading alot on this cause i plan on doing some crazy rock work with some acrlic rods id try and stay away from foam if you are not going to anchor it down cause it will float sonner or later ive aslo read u can use the cement in yellow and green buck at lowes pre mixxed its used for fixxing water wells and has no cure time from what i read but u could use that as glue post up some pics like to see what u come up with
