Can anyone recommend any reef software or app that works with manual testing and input?

For what? A controller?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I will not be using a controller for testing and tracking my parameters, I will be testing them manually with test kits. I was wondering if anyone has used any of the aquarium apps such as Aquarimate for keeping record of their tank.

No, but that looks pretty cool. I didn't know about any of them. I've been keeping track in a tiny little book. Now I too am interested in some experiences with these apps. It will make my life easier for sure!

I have always used log books in the past, but if figure since my damn cell phone bill is half as much as a car payment i may as well look into a decent app. LOL

Oh ok I get it now lol. I used a few iphone apps but wasn't thrilled. I just made an excel spreadsheet. Much easier IMO

an excell sheet will do just as much as any data app and probably more - you can actually build formulas into it and the number of cells that are formula calculated as well as the formulas are not limited to whatever the app designer deems necessary or proper, you can literally plug into it any idea you bump into at any point. it's just a matter of commitment to get the data and put it in, and the app does not help with that either.

I use an app called AquaPlanner pro, I know a few other people use it too. It's pretty straight forward and lets you keep track of livestock, equipment, scheduling and the like.

Aquarimate has a "track expenses" feature. That could get you into serious trouble if found by the wife.

+1 aquaplanner pro

Would you mind sharing the spreadsheet? I know it's prob easy to make myself but I'm too lazy. :D

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Aquaplanner app. IMO there are a few things in it that could be improved.
