Reefer Max G3 - opinions please

So I’ve been out of the hobby since early 2021, and starting to look at equipment for a new tank. I keep looking at the Reefer Max 300 G3, but I’m wondering if I’ll end up replacing half of the equipment it comes with. My plans on the tank will be predominantly based on a gigantea anemone. I miss my green one I use to have, and a few hardier coral.

So wondering what the experiences have been with these tanks and the equipment they come with.

I am not sure about the equipment. Most Red Sea equipment seems pretty good. Their tanks scare me and I would avoid buying one.
The G3 series is supposed to have bracing to address most of the seam/leaking issues with the G1/G2. And there are far more people that have had zero issues with the G1/G2 but I would still be hesitant.

That being said @mchartier I would look at the IM tanks. When I was pricing out a dream tank the IM tanks were far and away the best bang for the buck and they don't seem to have nearly as many issues as the Red Sea tanks.

Not to post off forum: but I researched them vs waterbox on Reef2Reef, ultimately decided to go with waterbox.

Reef2reef has tons of tank failure threads.

I personally wouldnt touch a red sea tank with a 10 foot pole, even if they have made improvements. The past track record is too scary to risk a hundred gallons ending up on the floor.

I personally have a cade but I know IM makes good tanks too.

Their 100 EXT is basically half off right now and its damn tempting...
