how long does rkl keep memory of hi/low temps?

In MyReef it will keep all the data, thing is you need to keep the computer and MyReep connected to capture it all. The Net module may but I have not used it, I know it can do graphing.

I do not have the net module that's why I'm just curious how long the head unit itself keeps the memory for

You can download MyReef from DA's forum, you need to have a 2.0 SID (if you dont they use to do an upgrade for it without having to buy a new SID). So download the software, install it, open it up. Connect the SID only (its the USB to bus adapter that came with the system) you should see it in the SID in the modules on the left once you do that and its up to date with firmware, connect a bus cable from the SID to an open port on your system. All the modules will show up on the left. You will also see graphs on the left, left click on that and add a new graph, the screen is pretty much self explanatory on setting up what you want to graph, I never did anything with the min/max values the system will do that by it self. The only thing is this software needs to be connected and running in order to capture the data for the graphs. I use an old laptop and run VNC to it from where ever I am, thats why I have not bothered with the Net Module. The PC does not have to be anything special to run the software, I even set it up on a netbook a while ago for someone else.

nor do i have the usb cord either, i got this used with just the head unit, pc4 and temp probe...

The SID should be about $25 if you wanted to order one. Do you have the Lite or Elite?

I don't think it does. Logging is a feature of myReef, it just takes the info from the rkl. Can't speak for the elite, no experience there. My apex used to store data though, it was a great feature.

I remember before the 2.0 updates you could do graphs on the head unit of the Elite not sure of the Lite though. Use to be able to cycle thru 12h, 24, and a week I believe on the graphs.
