refugium light fell in my tank

Just found my refugium light on my 29 gal in the refugium, I have no idea how long it was in there. everything if slimming like crazy, the clowns are ok they were swimming kinda crazy but settling down. I did a water change, changed the poly filter and carbon. Amonia, nitrite and nitrates are fine so far. Will they all be ok? I think the clowns are mad cause the frog spawn and hammer they sleep in are closed up.

I glad to see everything is doing o.k.And the reefkeeper is o.k. too?

It is not plugged into a GFI, It is plugged into a reef keeper ll guess I assumed that would have shut things down..

Haha that's what happened to me. Only I was cleaning the diatoms off the glass and hit the light in by accident. The whole light fell in and I instantly stuck my arm in the tank and grabbed the light haha so I was getting zapped and yelling, so my bf came over and unplugged everything LOL it was plugged into a surge protector and it didn't shut off. I just wanted to save my fish. My clown and crabs are all ok tho. I'm surprised the poor things didn't have heart attacks

You are soooo lucky. Please ...for your LIFEand the safety of others get GFI'sintalled. They are not expensive and are easy to intall and can save yours or someones else LIFE!

Thanks for the concern for my tank and the tip. We are on it. Although I killed the power to the tank as soon as we noticed the light it was still very scarey
