removing anemones

my anemone split a couple of times and each piece seems to be doing great but i dont need 4 anemones in my tank .is there a way to remove them without hurting them ?

There's tons of different ways, I have always just been able to gently pull up an edge of the foot and peel off. Some people will point a power head at it and cause it to creep onto a well placed rubble rock. I have heard of others using ice so it retracts its footing then it supposed to pull right off. Never tried though

i move mine slowly and from underneath and just work my way under him? are they in sand or rock?

Use the forum search function, lots of posts related to this topic.

Some suggestions:
- direct a power head at it to get it to move
- use a credit card/tooth-pick/etc. to get under the foot and slowly work it free

When I had to get mind off a rock that I was able to take out of the DT I did the following:
1) Filled a PetCo pet carrier with water from the DT
2) Lifted the rock up out of the DT with the Nem hanging down towards the water
3) Put the pet carrier under the rock
4) Slowly lifted the rock and waited for the Nem to release itself and fall into the pet carrier

Worked pretty well for me.

you can also use an ice cube and place it at the foot

The most effective way I've found is to point a powerhead at it until it goes on the glass.
Or the foot begins to peel off the rock.
