Removing section in acrylic sump...

What's best way to remove a section in an acrylic sump? I am guessing a Dremel would be safest but curious what everybody has done in the past?

Looking to remove the intake section as I have a roller mat I want to put there and while it would fit in the section it wouldn't leave much for a skimmer or refugium section.

the less heat the better it will cut and not bind up.

Well thanks, I miss winter 0%. That said, the reefing community here is small. Even if I go down to LA it's not nearly what Boston reefers is.

That's ok though.
I have a 320 here but thinking of doubling that sometime in 2025.
