My old flame-fin Tomini tang passed away today. I had him for 15 years and when I got him from a previous reefer, he was 5 to 6 years old already. So he lived a full life of 20+ years.
Always ate like a pig even last night.
RIP.

Sorry for your loss! Never easy to lose a fist that you had that long!

Yes. It was sad to see him gone. But he did lived a long life. He just laid on the ground and passed away, the body was fully intact.

Sorry, about your fish. I know how it feels. To lose a fish that been in your hand for many years.

Sorry to hear that. Was it your oldest fish?
I wonder who out there has the oldest fish. I have a clown fish that is at least 25 years old.

It is one of my oldest fish.
I had a blue Hippo tang that lived for 24 years. (7 years with the previous owner and 17 years with me).
A purple tang that lived for 15 years with me but he was with his previous owner for 6 years for a total of 21 years.
A clownfish that is 20+ years old and still alive and kicking, but her mate passed away a few years back.
Many of the fish I currently have are over 15 years old.

Some people would say "It's just a fish," but we know how it feels to lose one. Sorry to hear it passed.

Sorry to hear Dong.

Man, sorry to hear that Dong. It's funny how they become family after a while. Sorry you lost it, but I'm 100% positive it was expertly cared for and lived every single day it was supposed to.
