RODI Garden Hose Adapter

Hey guys and gals need some help. I need to find a garden hose adapter for 1/4" outside diameter RODI tubing. I went to ACE and bought a $3 adapter and when I brought it home it was too big. Must have been 1/2". I really don't want to have to order one. Can someone point me to a store they know carries something like that. Home Depot, Lowes, LFS?

Probably find what you need at lowes...they usually have a pretty good selection.
Or Keep the adapter and get 1/2" to 1/4" reducer but you would need a short pc of 1/2" tubing.

I bought a brass adapter from Homer with brass compression fittings from Homer's. about 6 bucks. No leaks.

Had this same problem a while back thought it would be pretty common and thought I could get it at the local HD but could not find it.
Ended up getting a nice metal one opposed to the plastic one that broke on me orginially. Picked it up at jays in Salem nh

IIRC to make one at HD/Lowes you need a metal female hose connector x 1/2" FPT (or maybe it's 3/4" FPT), and then a john guest x 1/2" (or is it 3/4") MPT fitting.

Harbor Freight has them. It's part of a drip irrigation kit they sell. You'll get the adapter with 50' of 1/4" green tubing and some misc items for $6.99. Item #46095.
