I use to live an apartment and I had mine hooked up under my sink. They sell a fitting that goes imbetween your pipe and the hose for you faucet. Allowing you to use your faucet when unit is running. Just throwing it out there I could get you the name of the fitting If you were curious.

I know what fitting you are talking about. I had a splitter on my washing machine. I just live on the third floor and was making water one time and completely spaced out and started over flowing lucky I caught it in time. Also my water depletes the di resin extremely fast so I started running the three di stages plus 3 brs carbon blocks for the Chloramines it was just getting expensive. I appreciate you trying to help me out.

Yeah, hook me up with the name as well Mr. Owen, if you don’t mind . because my system is connected to the bathroom sink and I let it flow into my tub dripping water into a clean bucket .just in case I forget so it doesn’t leak to the floor
