RODI tds measures 1 ppm - use it or dump it?

My most recent batch of RODI water that I made last weekend measures 1 ppm. The filters were new in January 2006 and I will replace the cartridges before I filter more water, but should I use the 10 - 15 gallons that measures 1 ppm or dump it? I don't know how sensitive the reef is to anything above 0 ppm and your inputs will be apreciated.

1ppm is just fine! I use mine till it gets to 10. Alot of SPS keepers seem to change them out around 5-7 PPM.

Actually, replacing/refilling just the DI should bring the 1ppm back to 0 (ie, you don't need to replace all the cartridges)... but I agree that 1ppm is fine to use.

jovreef and nunoffs - thank you both very much for your replies to this - greatly appreciated!

After DI water comes out of the DI cartidge it will absorb CO2 from the air. Not uncommon to read 1 ppm or so if it's been sitting around in an open container.
