First time buying a Rodi i looking to buy ii been looking at amazon or facebook. for a few any suggestion

get one with a 2:1 or 1:1 rejection rate. most of the cheap ones are 4:1 or more. this means for every gallon of good water you dump 4 gallons of waste down the drain. I know melev,s reef (Marc Levarson) sells a 100GPD unit which is 2:1 for a pretty reasonable price. I think spectra-pure makes a couple low rejection rate units also. I am currently looking at these units myself. It all depends how much water you will be making to decide what rejection rate you want to go with the lower the rejection rate the more the cost Of the unit. You will need with a 4 or 5 stage. Depending on your water pressure you may need a booster pump. 65psi is usually a good incoming pressure if you have it. Get a unit with a TDS meter so you can see when your membrane needs replacing also. That’s my 2 cents on purchasing a rodi

Also if you are on well water, check your CO2 in the water. I just installed a new spectrpure RODI and blew through my DI after about 50 gallons. Apparently I have lots of CO2 in my water.... I am looking to build a CO2 exchanger in between the RO and DI stages to dissipate the CO2 prior to DI. If you are on public water, I don’t think you will have an issue.

I'm a big fan of the Bulkreefsupply 6 stage 150gpd water saver unit with triple inline tds meters.
The in-line meters are worth it. Honesty if you don't know what you need and want piece of mind get something like this and you should be covered.
