WTB - Livestock Saltwater mollies or other 30 gallon appropriate fish for frag tank

Hey guys, I’m working on setting up a frag tank in my classroom for the reef club this year.

I’m in need of some fish. I’m hoping for a donation, but I have $17 that I had in my classroom to get fish. (My wife said no more spending money on the classroom)

I may end up with just some salt acclimated mollies if I can’t get anything else. I actually like this idea anyways as I’ve read they eat lots of algae.

Still looking for some fish for the classroom frag tank. I got 4 mollies and I guess I didn’t go slow enough, I lost 3 of the 4. I acclimated over about 28 hours.

If anyone knows anyone breeding saltwater mollies, that would be awesome!

Bump!

Mollies aren’t great if you plan to have flow in the frag tank. They will just hang out where the dead spots are. Just an fyi.

Thanks, I did notice that. Thankfully, I was able to sell my reefer nano which will pay for the light upgrade that I need plus some fish and inverts!

Old post but thought I'd chime in, I have many saltwater mollies. See my post on livestock for sale. All are handling pretty decent flow, enough to have SPS do well in the tank. But will need an hour or two with lower flow at night to rest.

Thanks,I have most of the fish that I need now. Plus Middleborough is a bit of a trek. I do still dream of having a low flow tank with some of them just for fun. lol
