Scoly Coral Issues

This is my third scoly that is having a receding issue. My scoly’s are great for a couple months then slowly recede. It is always starts one side and slowly recedes into to the center, then it dies. This is also across 3 different tanks with different fish and inverts, so I dont think it’s predation.

What am i doing wrong?

The tank it is currently in has a yellow goby, but the other two tanks did not. I don’t have a yellow tang, but i have a one spot foxface

Dip and Try to put it into a cage or shroom box with a similar par area as before and target feed for one week. I don’t think it’s due to water chemical if your other corals still fine. Scolys are really hardy.

I think it just needs target feeding.
Scolys are known to have these kind of issue in captivity.
There is little long term success to keep scolys unless heavy feeding.

I only feed once a week at best. I am guessing i should be doing every other day

it looks like that may be the edge facing the current, is it in too much flow on that side?
