Scotts and Golden Fairy Wrasse?

Would a Golden Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis) and a Scotts Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus scottorum) work together in my 100 gal tank?

I also have:
A yellow tang
5 Blue Green Chromis
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
A Yashia Shrimp Goby
A Yellowhead Jawfish

And I was also thinking of adding a Helfrichi Firefish

probably shouldn't be an issue in a pretty large tank.

Keep in mind though you might not be happy with the colors you get out of both of those if a female isn't present..

the romboidalis is probably my favorite fish ever... however you pay pretty heavily for them =/ .

Yeah i have one scotts i use to have a pair lost one in may when in jump on top of my over flow. The color is still nice and i saw a romboidalis at Skipton's, i think it is alone and it was still an amazing fish. So i hope they keep nice colors.

Yeah but ours has some sub wrasses in there, and that is not even supermale colors.

Personally, I don't like the Scott's. To me the colors are bland, most always fade over time. And over time I have known many Scott's to become bullies.

The best situation for any Fairy or Flasher Wrasse is one male/supermale and two females.


I would not bother adding the Helfrich's, with the fish load you have, you probably won't see much of them. I had a group of 5 in a 125 with a bunch of other Fish, and they where not out nearly as much once I added the other fish (Watanabe Angel, Rhomboid Wrasse, Pylie Wrasse, and Achilles Tang)

My 70 cube will have a group of 7 Hefrich's Firefish and a pair of Dracula Gobies, and that will be it...

So if I wanted to get the rhomboidalis what do you suggest I do to have it keep it's colors, if I can do anything. I am willing to remove the Scotts, it is nice but not as impressed with it I as I thought I would be. That's what I get for ordering it online.
