Separating salt into smaller bags?

Anyone split a big bag of salt into portion sized bags? If so, what do you use for storage? I was thinking quart sized ziploc bags either zip or classic.

I've actually measured out exact portions for standard water changes as well as portions for 5 gallons. I used a food vacuum sealer—which made them convenient to handle as they become bricks. The bags are pretty tough—I didn't factor in cost though.

Hmmm that’s definetely a consideration although considering I do 5 gal water changes vacuum bags might be wasteful
