Just notice this calcarious(sp?) algae on my blue maxima and it grows pretty quick and pretty big. Should I remove it ot let it grow on the shell? Is it harmful?

Yeah i like varying the life diversity in the tank. I would think your Ca and alk are pretty high?

Yes, my alk and calcium is high. 10-11dkh and 450ppm.
The calcariuos grows pretty quick. I probably just let it grow since it doesnt bother me and it doesnt seem to bother the clam either. Though it is reaching the mantle.
