Should i run double actinic with my 150mh?

Hello all I was wondering what your thoughts were on running double actinic with my 150mh as opposed to an actinic/white setup. They're on my 37 gal hexagon. t5's come on 30mins before the mh and stay on 30mins after. Thanks for any info/thoughts!

That really depends on how blue you want the tank.And what K MH bulbs you have.
Like in my situation,if I was running 2 Phoenix 14 K actinic supplementation wouldn't really be a big deal.
Just use it for dusk/dawn effect.
But If I had say 2 Ushio 14K or a bulb that is more white 10k.Then yes,I would go with 2 or double actinic.

I'm running a 14k phoenix. Basically wondering what is best for the corals, esthetics are secondary as far as I'm concerned

I'm working with LPS right now, will eventually be working toward SPS.

Anytime you can add 10K lighting over a tank,the better for growth.
So with Pheonix 14 K being so blue I would say the 50/50 combo of actinic and white would be good.
