Siphon break on my retun lines

Kevin McG

Ni Hao!
Got the tank full of water today and tested out the plumbing. Killed the power to the return pump and tested the max sump level and I noticed the sump just kept filling. I didn't realize the temporary return lines I am using were still submerged and when I pulled them everything stopped draining and no flood by the way :D

Ok the question, where is the best place to put a siphon break on the retun line?

Other than that everything went great no leaks, no floods and quiet operation ;)

Drill a few right at the surface when the return pump is off. When the pump is running they'll be 1/4" below the surface. Make sure you drill a few and keep them cleaned out, because they are sure to get clogged.
