Skimmer suggestion?

I have a buddy setting up a 125 gal Fish Only or Fish Only with Live Rock tank.

1- Should he run a skimmer?

2- The tank isn't reef ready and he doesn't want a sump. If the answer to Q1 is yes, can anyone recommend a hang on the back skimmer?

Kinda big for a hang on model skimmer. only thing that comes to mind is a red sea prizm pro model

I would say yes he should be running a skimmer. My recommendation would be Aqua C Remora Pro. I have heard great things about them and they are reasonably priced.
