skimmmer problems, tunze 9410, and suggestions for another?

I have a tunze 9410 in my sump. Runs quiet if left on full but cant do that it it overfloes, so I turn it down and horrible noise. Any suggestions for a different one? I have a 120 gal tank with 30 gal sump. I been looking at bashsea, vertex omeaga. I want something rated for 300 gal or so that is quiet.

I picked up one of the RLSS DC pump skimmers a few months ago (not open volute, but similar DC pump). I would say it's the best working skimmer I've ever run. Near silent, has never overflowed, and has the most consistent foam production of any skimmer I've ever used. The speed control adds a whole other dimension to skimmer tuning...
