GE Type 1 works, it's for most plumbing, including drinking water.
Be sure you let it cure for 30 mins.
i shut down the pump and gave it a good coat and it seems to have stopped it... keeping fingers crossed hereLiam said:you can try turning the water off in the pipe and applying some extra pvc cement to the outside
