I won't keep pushing the point but you are up at the top end of the test kit range and subject to human error, you need to ask yourself why your tank takes near ten times the additive to reach 450 ppm if you still think the reading is accurate I don't know how to help.

Actualy i double chek and my calcium dose is 150 ml ..still too much i understand ther are a few facts that for me dont match also ..like the fact that the salt i use is red sea pro with alk all the way on 11dkh (so why my alk is 7.4 ) i do 15 gallon water change every week ... and most people don dose mag... i dose 9 ml daily to keep my at 1450 + or- ... and the dose of 209 im doing in a 12 hour period is to try to bring it tho the 9dkh .. so my best bet is bring the alk to the 159 mls ald just leave it at 7.4 .. and dont keep pushing it and stress the tank and my self

How do the corals look? If there not looking affected by it I wouldn't stress too much and keep trying to figure it out without stressing out

190 ml of BRS Calcium Chloride per day??? What size is your tank? I understand this is just a very rough guide but for moderate stocked tank you would expect to use 0.2 ml/day/gal. I use 40 ml/day of BRS in my 80 gal. Are you sure your not having a Calcium snow storm?

Jim

Good point, actually reducing the ca dose would likely stop the snowing and then allow the alk to come up. (the snowstorm is ca and alk sticking together and falling out of solution)

Ill give a try .. ill reduce cal.dose and test every other day to see what happens .. thank you all for your help .. some times just try deal with this by your self is just stressing !!

Well i just reduce the calcium doses .mls.... and get a salifert alk test kit ... today i test with the salifert and red sea test kits
Salifert came out 7.7 dkh
Red sea 7 dkh
Calcium put it down to 410 ppm
I manualy dose som alk to display tank and the snow storm effect whent down 75% (good thing ) so i went ahead and put a small power head on the compartment where i dose .. to get mor flow .. and whent up a few mls on the alk to see if i can get it up little by little at least to 8.5 or 9 dkh
