I've had the pair for about 6 months. They are adults that came for someone here that was getting out. The male has a bubble of flesh sticking out of his gill. It's been there about a week and has gotten a tiny bit bigger. He seems to be eating breathing and swimming fine. Just looks weird, it's the same color as his outer skin doesn't look red or like it's from the inside. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Will he live? I'll try to get a pic but my camera stinks.
