Special request: livestock donations for BRS auction

I think any donation that would sell is a good idea, Cliff.
Doesn't matter if it's new, used, or what ever. As long as somebody can use the item and it sells, the goals are met.

I have a fluorescent green hydnophora I can donate. It's getting too large for my tank, I've had it for about a year and got the frag from Scott. The frag is about 4-5" tall and maybe 4" in dia. I will probably take a small frag off the colony but that won't deter from the size.....

I'll take a pic this weekend, I had to buy a new PC and still need to load the camera software.

Oops I need to get a pic of this. I have to track down my camera and will try and post tonight. I won't be taking a frag from it because I'm not sure where to cut it. With my luck it'll crumble if I attempt it.

Nuno,

>do you need a list/photos in advance, or can I just bring what I have at the time on the day of the auction?<

We don't need photos, or a list, but if you posted them you might generate more interest. Seeing it in a baggy, under low light is not likely to get many people interested in the average frag.

>Who is going to be the auctioneer this time around ???<

Moe doesn't know it yet, but I believe we have drafted him due to his stellar performance at the auction back in Jan.!! :D

Will be looking for brains, frogspawn, torch, hammers, and other softies if anyone wants to donate, I will be buying to stock the 92 which is doing quite well at this point.

Here's a pic of the hydno I'm donating, sorry it's not a good one but you can get an idea...I had just moved it to a new spot so it colored down in the middle...It's about 4-5" high and about 4" around on a small piece of rock (no bryopsis on this one:D )

RE: Donations

There will be a donation reception table set up adjacent to the membership table. Here you will be able to list your donated items and receive a receipt good for a tax deduction for your donated item.

We have much more livestock and drygoods to be listed before the days end. Products from local sponsors as well as such donors as AquaFX, 2 Little Fishies, Atlantis Aquarium and much more! Stay tuned!
