Watch those fuzzy green mushrooms! :D They grow like MAD and overtake everything. If you swing by for the hammer coral I can show you.

I smash them and cut them and frag them and they just keep on coming! LOL

Nice tank BTW! :)

ray you should see the ones you gave me, i'll have to put up a pic

messed around with the aquascaping

So I messed around with the aquascaping in anticipation of the macro rock being almost cured (one more week at most!!!!) I tried making it more level so that corals and the macro rock (which is more shelf rock) can be easily added. Here's the most recent pic (sorry for the horrible camera)

just the 2 of us...

they were screaming at me to take a picture so I had to comply. I had just cleaned the glass and stired up the sand so that's why it's a little cloudy...

I've finally fine tuned the calc and alk chemistry and I can tell a huge difference in the corraline growth. The back of the tank lost a lot of corraline algea from the move back in Aug/Sept 07 and really hasn't grown back. I'm super excited for the increase in growth especially since the macro rock is going in next weekend!!!

I'll keep posting pictures!!!

Well the Marco Rock is fully cured and I put most of it in my 55g and the rest in the 29 FOWLR. I left the right side pretty much the same because of the vertical limits because of the pre-skimmer for the bak-pak. I made the left side much more "plato'ish" and level for anticipation of all the frags I'm going to eventually get... Here's some pics...

2nd pic is a close up of the right side...

Well the rocks have started to get encrusted with coraline and it looks awsome. I'll be getting a full tank shot hopefully tomorrow after work.

Well I put this on top of the tank...
