Stems on LR

So I've got these stems growing off my live rock all over the place. Don't know what they are, but if the tank gets unsettled like sand is circulating or I move the rock around, they seem to shoot fine hair like strands. What are these? And these normal to have a lot of? I'll try to get a picture if needed.

Vermetid snails, they can bother some coral but are otherwise fine.

Tried to take the best picture I could with my P&S. Couldn't get the focus to work so well... But those are the stems attached to my live rock.

I think you're right about that, as I've searched the web for pics of them. Any way of getting rid of them?

Either getting a fish that eats them (corris wrasses work well) or inject them with kalk

They're totally unobjectionable. It's part of the diverse life in your reef. Don't try to get rid of them.
