Here's lookin' at you
Hello all, I saw that Gary Majchrzak has "hundreds" of these up for sale again. I wouldn't be the best person to organize a group buy on these because I'm so far away from you all, but if there was enough interest, I'd be in for one. You can see the thread here: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=669578

I know lots of BRS members have these in their tanks. I have some as well, but are not up for trading just yet. Maybe some local member will be willing to trade some so you don't have to ship.

Oh excellent. I wasn't sure if many people had these or not. I'll wait for some to become available on the selling threads.
Thanks
Chris

I have a few, I'll start feeding them again so they'll splitt. It only takes a couple weeks. But then I have to try and get them off the rocks  I'll look and see if any are on the glass first.
You really only need to get one and feed it. They splitt quickly when fed....that's how Gary ends up with hundreds....

I have one in my sump, didn't know if was bad or not. now That I know I'll put it in the display tank.

thanks

I have a few as well, they do split pretty fast. I'd be leary of getting these into a tank with a lot of SPS. I'm not trying to rain on anybodies parade here, but these can travel about in a tank pretty quickly - they are mobile.

not at all Daire I prefer the mini carpets to me the tulips spread just as fast as Majano
these guys do split as stated mine usually tend to stay on the bottom of the tank but they do once in a while climb and will get near the SPS and zoas havent noticed any adverse affect on either but 1 must remember that the tulips do bury into a rock so the are a PITA the remove without disrupting everything in its path

Daire,

What Dawn said. They are about 4 times the size, about the size of standard mushrooms, but are much more mobile. They are cool, I've yet to feed any of mine on purpose, and still they have multiplied quickly.

I've got a ton of these on my rocks. I will take some pictures tonight to confirm. If you'd like some please let me know. Will trade for frags. ;)
