Still Unable To Run Skimmer

Last week I treated the tank for a Cyano outbreak. I'm good for one of those every 12-18 months.

Problem is it's been almost a week now and I can't run my skimmer yet. It just overflows like crazy! Anyone have any experiences to share and to give me an idea as to when I can start skimming again?

One of my SPS colonies is showing the stress over the DOC's.

Did you change your carbon after the treatment Ray?

Adjust the skimmer to skim drier for a while.

couple of large water changes and fresh carbon as stated above

I had the same problem last summer in my 55 I had to adjust the air intake to almost nothing and open it a little each day.
I used chemi clean.

Maybe a couple of water changes would help

The directions say to change x amount of water after the 48 hour treatment. A couple of water changes should be more like it. As stated, run fresh carbon and tweak your skimmer down a bit. Its an easy fix.
