Stock tank sump build

Great day to put this together outside! Tank is 60 gallons from tractor supply, white panels are 1/4” HDPE and the weirs are 1/4” plexi, both from TAP Plastics. I found a company that makes a hot melt glue designed for HDPE and that seems to work like a champ, time will tell.
Left side is roller and skimmer, right side is live rock and fuge. Center back is return with an additional pump going into the fuge side. Center is about 20” square as a frag area. I’m thinking it will hold an actual 30-40 gallons when it’s in place.
Total cost was about $280, a couple cold ones, and a surnburn on my dome.

I’d be happy to help with your build if you need it. Once I found the hot glue answer to HDPE bonding everything came together.

I appreciate it but I will be assembling this at my new house in central NJ. Do you have a link to the hot glue you used?

Thing looks awesome

I had some unexpected time at home recently so I got this beast up and running. Works the charm so far.

How’s that glue holding up so far?
It was okay-ish. It held well to the black tank but not so great holding two white panels to each other. I ended up adding a West Systems epoxy filet to shore things up.
