Stopping the spread of GSP

I have a huge gsp rock touching another rock and it has stared to spread onto that rock too. Is there something I could use to kill of some?

Make a kalk paste.
Turn the pumps off so there's no water movement in the tank.
Then apply the kalk paste to the areas you want to kill.
Siphon off the excess kalk paste.
Then start the water movement again.

I used to have that problem and used a small rock with a couple ricordea mushrooms on it to knock back the GSPs. It worked quite well. Seems like ricordea sting wipes out just about everything. I have a couple large colonies if you want me to make up a mop for ya.

If you put a GSP colony on sand bed, it won't spread.

a hammerhead seems to work really well to kill of GSP it did pretty well with my blue mushroom I had a frag of hammerhead on the sand that was upright but fell down and was close to the mushroom and stung it so bad i have a feeling the mushroom won't live much longer

I have some pink tiped hammers that have sme gsp growing on the bone. it seems to have stoped there though.

but I got a problem with either an encrusting gorg. or anthila im not sure which it is but its becoming a problem.

it was the hammerhead that you are getting which killed my mushroom (nitrofish)

What is the ratio of water to kalk powder for paste.....looking for toothpaste consistency?......I may need to know a little later down the line for the same problem.
