Stressed over Skimmer Choice HELP

Ok so I need a new skimmer. I ordered a eshopps r100 sump cause that's what would fit. Skimmer area is

7x11. I would really like to be able to use the fuge area. Which is 10x11

Here are a few I looked at

Sea Side Aquatics CS 5.5
Foot Print is 8.66x5.7 and Sicce Pump but needs 9.5-11 water level

SWC 120 Xtreme cone
FootPrint 6x7.25 with atman 1100
Apparently the maker is a crook and in trouble for selling live rock in Canada and worried about the pump

Reef Octo 110
6.1 x 7.87

Was going to get the SWC but then tbaquatic but they said they won't carry it anymore due to the owner

Need help. Open to other options

60 gallon cube is the tank. Need to order one ASAP thanks

I had a swc 160 the atman 2500 pump ? was a pia to get to and maintain, would die sometimes from neglect of maintenance, so go figure
besides that it skimmed amazing maybe too much.

that's my concern with it. tbaquatics has one left and they wont sell it anymore. open to other skimmers too those are just a few

I love my nwb150. Skims very well. My pump needs a vinegar bath so doesn't always start right up currently but when running it does it's job. I've had it running 3 years now.

I love my Super Reef Octopus 5000SSS, probably a little overkill (:p) but it's more silent than my previous Vertex IN-100. Reef Octopus makes really good skimmers...

I wanted the super reef 1000sss but it just won't fit. I was just reading that you can upgrade the pump on the NWB to the bubble blaster pump which the super has so up think that's the route I will go. Not right away upgrade but eventually. Now I just have to pull the trigger. Every time I feel like I'm ready to decide I can't pull it cause I'm nervous haha

I have a red sea c-skim that I will sell. It is a little bigger than what you want, but it can be placed outside the sump.
The water level in the sump will not affect it.

Send me a message and I will give you more details.

PS: it works fine. I just decided to go skimmer-less in my tank.

Can you swap the skimmerand fuge sections in the sump? Use the smaller one for a fuge? I have a Super Reef Octopus 3000 on my 135g and it is amazing.

I have a 60 cube as well and I had a lot of trouble finding a sump and skimmer to fit in my cabinet. The sump is an Aqueon Model 1, the smallest. There were not many options for me with the space I was working with. I went with an AquaC EV120 because it's a great skimmer and I could set it up externally to the sump without drilling it. I did run a refugium for a bit and had the pump for the skimmer in the first chamber of the sump and output going to the middle refugium chamber. I got rid of the refugium, it was too small with the Model 1 to make much difference. Now the skimmer pump is in the middle chamber of the sump with output going to the return chamber. You can check out my set up here http://www.bostonreefers.org/forums/showthread.php?129168-60g-Cube-Journal.
Good luck.
